Associated Press is So 'Over' It

The word "over" is now acceptable to use in copy instead of "more than," The Associated Press announced last week.
"More than" had been deemed the acceptable use of indicating greater numerical value. "Over," until now, had been used to denote positioning.
“The language evolves, the usage evolves, and we’re trying to be sensitive to it,” said Associated Press editor Minthorn.
Other changes include:
"Wal-Mart" is now hyphenated.
"first aid" (noun) and first-aid (adjective)
"in vitro fertilization" (IVF is acceptable on second reference
